Rep Connect is a private, invitation-only network that introduces medical sales professionals to peers who call on similar buyers but sell different products. It is operated by Rep Connect LLC (“Rep Connect”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
- We collect what we need to review your application and consider introductions. Nothing more.
- Your profile is never listed, searchable, or shown to other members as a directory.
- Your contact details go to another member only after you and they both say yes to an introduction.
- AI tools help us suggest matches and draft messages. They see your work details, never your name or contact details, and they may not train on your information. A person approves every introduction.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
1. Information we collect
From you
- Contact details: your name, email, mobile phone number, and, if you give it, your LinkedIn profile URL.
- Professional profile: job title, employer, years of experience, territory, specialties, the buyers and care settings you call on, product categories, and whether your employer permits partner introductions.
- Your answers: what you sell, the needs you hear that you don’t fill, the kind of partner that would help you, and the other application questions.
- Exclusions: companies or people you do not want to be introduced to. Only our review team sees these.
- Consents: the statements you accept when you apply, with the date and time.
- Account data: your sign-in email, when you sign in, and the invite links you create.
Please do not include patient information, customer or account details, pricing, or your employer’s confidential information in any answer. If you do, we will remove it.
Automatically
- Application progress: which steps of the application you viewed and completed, tied to your invitation and a random session ID. We use this to improve the application, never for advertising.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and request logs kept by our hosting and database providers for security and reliability.
- Cookies and browser storage: only what the site needs to work. That is a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and browser storage that saves your application progress on your device. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party analytics.
From others
- The person who invited you: your name and any professional details they entered, and their note about why they invited you.
- People we may invite: our team may note a professional’s name, title, employer, public LinkedIn URL, and a short summary of public professional information, to decide whether to invite them. If this is you and you want it removed, email us.
- Sign-in providers: if you sign in with a Google or Microsoft account where we offer it, we receive your name and email from that provider.
2. How we use your information
- To review your application and confirm that you work in medical sales.
- To consider introductions to members whose work complements yours, and to run the double opt-in process.
- To send service messages: application status, email confirmation, sign-in links, and introduction requests.
- To send invitations, which a person always writes or reviews before sending.
- To suggest matches and draft messages with the help of AI tools, as described in section 3.
- To keep the network safe: enforce our rules, prevent fraud and abuse, and secure the service.
- To understand and improve how the application and introductions work.
- To comply with the law.
3. How introductions work
People on our team read applications and decide which members might be worth introducing. We apply firm rules: no introductions between people at the same employer, your exclusions always apply, and territories must make sense. Each of you sees a short description of the other’s work and why we think the conversation is worth having, and each of you says yes or no privately. Your phone number and email are shared only after both of you say yes.
AI assistance. We use software, including AI models from outside providers, to help suggest which members to introduce and to draft invitations and introduction notes.
- What the AI sees: your work details, such as your company, title, territory, the tags you chose, and your answers about what you sell and who you want to meet.
- What it never sees: your name, email, phone number, LinkedIn, or any account ID. We also remove contact details and web links from your written answers before anything is sent.
- No training: we only use AI providers that do not use your information to train their models. Some providers keep request data for a period set by their own terms, for example to run their service and prevent abuse. Where a provider offers not to keep it at all, we ask for that.
- People decide: AI output is only a suggestion. A person on our team reviews every suggested introduction and every message before it goes anywhere, and no introduction happens unless both members say yes.
A company, title, and territory together can sometimes point to a specific person, so we treat what the AI sees as personal information and protect it the same way. If you would rather share less, keep your written answers general.
4. How we share information
With other members: only as described in section 3, and only for an introduction. Your exclusions, full application answers, and our review notes are never shared with members. If you create an invite, your name is shown to the person you invite, and you can see whether your invite has been used.
With service providers that run parts of Rep Connect for us, under terms that limit their use of the data to providing their service:
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the website and application |
| Supabase | Stores account and application data, and handles sign-in |
| Resend | Sends our emails |
| Cloudflare | Runs our domain and routes email you send us |
| OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to | Help suggest matches and draft messages, from work details only (no names, contact details, or IDs), and not used to train models |
For legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our members, the public, or Rep Connect.
If the business changes hands: in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will tell you, and this policy will keep applying to your information.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
5. How long we keep information
- Applications that are not accepted: deleted 12 months after the decision.
- Member accounts: kept while your account is active, and deleted within 30 days of your request, except anything we must keep to comply with the law or resolve a dispute.
- Backups may hold deleted data for a short time until they roll off.
- We may keep a record that an introduction happened, without your personal details, to measure whether the network works.
6. Your choices and rights
At any time, you can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your application or account and your personal information;
- stop considering you for introductions without deleting your account.
You can decline any introduction, every time. You can unsubscribe from invitation emails with the link in the email; we will still send messages about your own account. To use any of these rights, email hello@tryrepconnect.com from the email on your account. We will respond within 30 days, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. We do not track you across other websites and do not let third parties do so on Rep Connect, so the signal does not change how the site works.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. Access is limited to the people who review applications and run introductions, and their actions are logged. Sign-in uses one-time email links or a trusted sign-in provider, not passwords. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Who Rep Connect is for
Rep Connect is for working professionals 18 or older in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. We store and process data in the United States.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, especially to who we share information with or how it is processed, we will tell you by email and on the site before it takes effect, and ask for your consent again where that is fair or required. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed. Use of Rep Connect is also covered by our Terms of Service.
